Ind Vs Eng 5th Test Match (Chennai) Day 1 : Moen Ali century puts England into strong position (284/4)

Day 1 of Chennai  test match was turned to be a good day for team England .After winning the toss England is looking in a good position now after stumps of day 1. English captain Cook comes to bat with young Jennings but this pair was not in their best form and departed early. Jennings was in hurry and got out on Ishant Sharma’s fuller length delivery and cook was caught by Kohli in slips on the ball of Jadeja.

After these wickets, Root and Moen stands strong on the pitch and never gave a chance to India to put them in pressure anymore. They played there game with full confidence and builded a partnership of more than 150runs before lunch. Root missed his century again and Jadeja was the rescue man again for India and forced root towards the pavilion. In the mean time Moen Ali scored his second century in the series. Bairstow , who is in dream form of his life also helped Moen to push the scoreboard with a good run rate. Bairstow was looking good but Jadeja was not in mood to go wicketless in third session session and he picked up the wicket of him in very last overs of day. Jadeja was the successful bowler today from Indian side and he picked up 3 wickets. 
 
At the time of stumps Moen Ali(120)* and Ben stokes(5)* was on the crease and now they will look for a big score for England  in first innings as  after putting 400 in last test match they were on losing side. India will try to pick early wickets in the important first session
