Roger Federer is set to regain top status in the prize money stakes by overtaking Novak Djokovic to become the first tennis player to win $110 million.
Djokovic, a 12-time major winner and former world No. 1, became the first player to earn $100 million in prize money in June 2016.
Although the Serb currently leads the all-time prize money list with close to $110 million, Federer’s oustanding 2017 season, during which he won six titles, including two majors, means he’s within touching distance.
