Novak Djokovic confirms Andre Agassi as the new coach

After sacking his complete coaching staff including his long time coach Marian Vajda last month, Djokovic confirmed that 8 grand slam champion ‘Andre Agassi’ is joining his team. Former world number one Agassi will be with Djokovic in Paris for the French Open. The news was confirmed after Djokovic lost to Alexander Zverev in Rome finals.

It has been suggested that Agassi could work as a consultant, mainly for the majors, with another coach to work with Djokovic throughout the season, similar to how Boris Becker worked.

Andre Agassi who won eight Grand Slams as a player will start his new role ahead of the French Open at Roland Garros.
