He defeated Tomas Berdych in just 62 minutes, breaking his serve thrice, while he converted all of the break points he got. Another serving giant, John Isner defeated the number 1 Swiss, Stan Wawrinka, 7-6(1). 6-4, for the first time ever. Novak Djokovic defeated Roberto Bautista Agut in an easy match and he is now in the quarter-finals of Rome for the 11th consecutive time (2007-17). The 2016 Roland Garros champion is back in his top form, and played a very precise and clean match against the Spaniard. The world number 2 trained with Tomas Berdych for a practice session, since he is not left with a coaching squad by his side.
