Shikhar Dhawan first Indian player to score century in 100th ODI

Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan created history by becoming the first Indian player to score a hundred in his 100th ODI.

He achieved the feat during the fourth ODI of the six-match series against South Africa at Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg on Saturday.He smashed two sixes and 10 fours during the course of his first century in South Africa.

A total of 9 cricketers have achieved this feat including Dhawan and he also becomes the first batsman to do so against South Africa. In addition, Dhawan is also the 5th left-handed batsman to enter this prestigious club, which makes this list more dominant for left-handed batsmen.

Australian opener David Warner was the last batsman to achieve the landmark who scored a ton against India in September last year.
