Sachin Tendulkar turns 44 today and the whole world is pouring their best wishes to master Blaster on his 44th birthday. Six years after India won the World cup in 1983, the 16-year-old boy made his Test debut against Pakistan and the rest is history.
Over the years the Master Blaster kept the scoreboard ticking, and inspired a lot of cricketers to be like him. In 200 Tests, he scored 15,921 runs at an average of 53.78. He has scored 18,426 runs at an average of 44.83 in 463 ODI matches he played. In T20 matches he has scored 2,797 runs in 96 matches. Tendulkar is also the first batsman to score 200 in ODIs.
The God of cricket took the retirement in November 2013 and left the arena with an emotional farewell speech in front of home crowd at Wankhede stadium in Mumbai. Even after four years since he last played international cricket, Tendulkar has been popular among his fans and fellow cricketer.
We wish Sachin a happy birthday and good luck in whatever he does and those two words still reverberate in our ears and we love enchanting and hearing them again and again.
Sachin !! Sachin !!
