Biju George named India women’s team fielding coach

The Indian women’s cricket team, which will undergo a preparatory camp from June 6-10 in Mumbai–ahead of the World Cup to be held in England and Wales from June 24–will be having Biju George as the fielding coach.

George had earlier served as the fielding coach for the Indian Under-19 team and also had a stint with Kuwait as the head coach, apart from acting as a talent scout for Kolkata Knight Riders.

India plays its tournament opener against England on June 24 but prior to that, India Women will be playing two warm-up matches. The first against New Zealand women on June 19th and one game against Sri Lanka at Chesterfield on June 21st.
